          Excitation tripping device belongs to one kind of electromagnetic tripping component, which completes the controlled tripping function of circuit breaker by adding electric signals. If the normal power supply circuit needs to be cut off in the state of fire fighting, the circuit breaker can be broken by applying 24VDC signal to the coil of the shunt tripper of the circuit breaker.


          Distribution tripper refers to the auxiliary components of circuit breaker, such as thermal tripping, short circuit tripping, electromagnetic excitation tripping and so on. Circuit breaker and excitation tripping can be integrated or assembled together.


          Plastic case circuit breaker excitation tripper function:

          Distribution tripper is generally used for remote control, through the button or relay contacts, to connect the shunt coil, so that the circuit breaker trips. For example, in the removal of non-fire power supply in civil buildings. The circuit breaker with shunt tripper can be selected to make the fire alarm system trip the circuit breaker at a long distance through control module or control cable in the fire center to cut off the power supply of this kind of load.

          The tripping characteristics of plastic case circuit breaker can be divided into A, B, C, D, K and so on. Their respective meanings are as follows:

          Type A tripping characteristic: The tripping current is (2-3) In. It is suitable for protecting semiconductor electronic circuits, measuring circuits with small power supply transformers, or long and short circuit currents.

          Small systems.

          Type B tripping characteristics: tripping current is (3-5) In, which is suitable for household distribution system, household appliances protection and personal safety protection.

          C-type tripping characteristics: The tripping current is (5-10) In, which is suitable for protecting distribution lines, lighting lines and motor circuits with high switching-on current.

          D-type tripping characteristics: The tripping current is (10-20) In, which is suitable for protecting equipment with high impact current, such as transformers, solenoid valves, etc.

          K-type tripping characteristics: with 1.2 times thermal tripping action current and 8-14 times magnetic tripping action range, suitable for protecting motor line equipment, with high impact current resistance.
